The Lambretta was a creation of Ferdinando Innocenti at the end of World War II.  One of his company's, "Lambro", was commissioned to produce a low cost vehicle for the working class.  In 1947, the 125 M rolled off the line and immediately it was a hit!  The Lambretta line offered over 20 different styles over the next 20 years.   The center mount engine was copied by many scooter manufacturers and is now the industry standard.  Currently, the Lambretta is manufactured in Taiwan following Italian specifications.  This is a solid choice for a personal vehicle.

In Italian, Vespa \Ves"pa\ primarily means wasp or hornet.  But the name has also become synonymous with motor scooter.  The Vespa™ motor scooters our company offers are agile and “fly” much like the wasp; but on the surface of the planet not through the air. The vehicles exhibit a beauty and elegance that cannot be duplicated; similar to their insect counterpart.

With a 360 degree view of the city, there is no better way to tour Chicago then on a Vespa or Lambretta.  Locals, visitors and newcomers are all welcome to discover the city from a different vantage point.
